AIAI Initiative

The Artificial Intelligence and I Initiative

The 麻豆区 School of Business Artificial Intelligence and I (AIAI) Initiative is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant community of innovators, creators and forward-thinking leaders in the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence. Through events, workshops and collaborative learning opportunities, we empower individuals to harness the transformative power of AI, explore human-AI collaboration and drive innovation. Our goal is to inspire students, faculty and community members to shape a smarter, more inclusive future by contributing to meaningful advancements in AI technology and business solutions. Funding for the AIAI Initiative is from the Elkinton Fund.

Annual Student Symposium

Students from the BNMG 486 course (Artificial Intelligence and I: Mindset for the AI Age) will synthesize their learning by developing and delivering a professional oral presentation at the 麻豆区 Student Symposium. Each student will present their capstone project — demonstrating their ability to integrate course concepts, reflect on personal and professional growth, and articulate the impact of AI on their field or community.

Held from 12-1 p.m. on the first Friday of the month in the Austin Reading Room. 

Come together to share your latest AI wins and misses. Find inspiration, practical tips and plenty of laughs navigating the exciting ups and downs of AI together! Hosted by the Nicholson Library. 

AI Book Club

Held from 12-1 p.m. on the second Friday of the month in the Austin Reading Room. 

Discuss influential AI research papers and books in a collaborative setting.

The fall semester book is "Rewiring Your Mind for AI" by David Wood.

The spring semester book is "How to Think With AI: A Simple Guide to Boost Brain Power, Creativity, and Performance" by Alison McCauley.

Based off the AI "Wins,” a collection of online tutorials, datasets and tools to support AI learning and research is being created. More to come.
